Laura
Founder · Aesthetics Expert · Established 2015
Laura is the proud owner and Managing Director of Serene Skin and Beauty, which she founded in 2015 at the age of just 26. With over 10 years of experience in the beauty and aesthetics industry, Laura has built the clinic around her passion for helping clients feel confident, comfortable and beautiful in their own skin.
Holding a degree in Business Management from the University of Huddersfield, Laura combines her business expertise with extensive hands-on experience and a genuine passion for skin health, beauty and aesthetics. Before establishing the clinic, she worked aboard cruise ships, where she managed and treated passengers from all over the world, providing personalised skincare regimes and a wide range of beauty treatments.
Laura is highly experienced across all treatments offered at Serene Skin and Beauty, from advanced aesthetic treatments and laser and IPL therapies to skin tightening and weight loss treatments. Her hands-on approach and comprehensive knowledge allow her to understand each client’s individual needs and provide tailored treatments to help them achieve their goals.
Committed to continually developing her skills and knowledge, Laura is currently studying towards her Level 7 qualification in Aesthetics, further advancing her expertise in the ever-evolving world of aesthetic medicine.
For Laura, Serene Skin and Beauty is more than just a clinic; it is a reflection of her dedication, hard work and passion for helping people look and feel their very best. Her focus remains on delivering personalised care, maintaining high standards and ensuring every client feels valued, confident and in safe hands.
Nurse Kerry (BSc, NMC/INP)
BSc Hons NMC & Independent Nurse Prescriber
Kerry trained at the University of Bradford, where she completed her degree in Adult Nursing, graduating with First-Class Honours. She then went on to complete her V300 Independent Prescribing qualification at the University of Huddersfield.
With a strong clinical background in oncology and haematology, Kerry has developed a particular passion and specialism in palliative care.
Kerry is a fantastic asset to Serene Skin and Beauty, bringing her extensive nursing knowledge, clinical expertise and prescribing skills into the clinic. She leads the face-to-face consultations and prescribing, ensuring every client receives a thorough, professional and personalised approach to their care. Her strong medical background and attention to detail allow her to combine her nursing expertise with aesthetic treatments, helping to ensure that every treatment offered is delivered with a focus on safety, care and excellent client experience.
Elaina
Advanced Aesthetics Practitioner
Elaina has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise in skincare and aesthetics.
Having previously worked at Serene every week for two years, Elaina is a much-loved member of our team. She now runs her own clinic in Nottingham but still joins us at Serene from time to time to help out with ad hoc appointments.
Known for her warm, friendly and kind nature,
Elaina is passionate about helping every client feel confident, comfortable and beautiful in their own skin. She has extensive experience working with mature clients and understands the importance of tailoring treatments to individual needs, helping each person achieve the look they desire while enhancing their natural beauty.
With her wealth of experience, caring approach and genuine passion for aesthetics, Elaina is always delighted to welcome clients to Serene whenever she’s with us.
Maisy
Skincare & IPL / Laser Specialist
Maisy has been part of the Serene team since January 2025 and brings a wealth of experience in laser treatments and advanced facials. With a genuine passion for beauty and skincare, she is dedicated to helping every client feel confident, relaxed and beautiful.
Friendly, enthusiastic and approachable, Maisy loves getting to know her clients and creating a welcoming experience tailored to their individual needs. Before joining Serene, she completed extensive training in semi-permanent makeup and a range of advanced facial courses, allowing her to develop a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise in the beauty industry.
Alongside her role at Serene, Maisy also works as a Beauty Specialist at Hale Country Club.
Working with a diverse range of clients across both locations has given her a broad understanding of different skin types, beauty concerns and individual treatment goals.
Maisy’s passion for her work, combined with her friendly nature and commitment to delivering beautiful results, makes her a valued member of the Serene team.
