Meet the People Behind Serene
Laura Roberts
founder & owner - aesthetics specialist
Laura founded Serene Skin & Beauty in Sale in 2015, bringing with her a wealth of experience spanning beauty, skincare and aesthetics. Trained at The Beauty Academy in Manchester and Leeds, she holds qualifications across every treatment she offers — including advanced IPL and laser training directly with Lynton Lasers, one of the UK’s leading aesthetic laser manufacturers and trusted by the NHS.
Before launching Serene, Laura worked as a Beauty Specialist aboard Celebrity Cruise Lines, delivering skincare advice and make-up seminars to an international clientele. She also holds a Business Management degree from the University of Huddersfield. Laura is fully qualified and insured across all treatments at the clinic, including injectable aesthetics.
NURSE KELLY (BSc, NMC/INP)
advanced aesthetic nurse - independent nurse prescriber
Nurse Kelly is a highly qualified Adult Nurse with a degree in Adult Nursing and an Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification. With advanced clinical training and a strong focus on patient safety, she is an expert in injectable treatments — delivering precise, natural-looking results with every visit.
As our in-house prescriber, Nurse Kelly ensures all prescription-only treatments at Serene are reviewed and prescribed by a fully qualified, NMC-registered clinician — right here at the clinic in Sale. She also specialises in body treatments, offering tailored, non-surgical solutions to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals.
Maisy
advanced skin & laser specialist
Maisy is a multi-skilled practitioner with a true passion for helping clients feel confident in their skin. Extensively trained in Semi-Permanent Make Up, she is the go-to for beautifully enhanced brows and long-lasting definition tailored to each client’s natural features.
Her expertise spans advanced facial and skin treatments — including acne, pigmentation and rejuvenation — as well as non-surgical body treatments such as Fat Freezing and Ultrasound Cavitation. Maisy is also fully qualified in Laser and IPL technology, covering everything from hair removal and pigmentation to skin tightening and vascular concerns.

Elaina is a fully qualified aesthetic practitioner with a passion for regenerative medicine and evidence-based treatments. Her approach is rooted in science, anatomy and genuine care for each client’s long-term skin health.
With advanced training in aesthetic medicine and a specialist interest in regenerative treatments, Elaina brings a thorough, considered approach to every consultation — honest, unhurried and completely without pressure.
